The one thing people tend to ask me most is what products I use on my hair, so I thought it would be a good thing to do a blog post about.

These are my go to products which mostly stay the same and have done for quite a while now. Sometimes I add in a few more things (leave in conditioners/shine spray etc) but overall these are the things I have found that work for me.

For colouring I use Garnier Nutrisse. I have tried SO many hair colours over the years and this is the only one that works on my colour resistant greys. It also leaves my hair feeling healthy and conditioned.

I have a really fussy scalp so not all shampoos suit me (what a surprise). The shampoo brand that I've found works for me is the Aussie Brand. It doesn't matter which one I use in the range so I tend to switch it up every now and then and have, at one time or another, used them all. At the moment I'm using the Beach Mate Shampoo & Colour Mate Conditioner and I tend to buy them when they're on offer.

To protect my hair when heat styling I love the TRESemmé Heat Protector. As much as I love the Aussie Shampoo and Conditioners I didn't like their Heat Protector. I found it left my hair sticky and heavy. The TRESemmé one doesn't do that and I also find that it detangles my hair slightly as well! Always a plus when you have hair like mine that tangles so easily.

I go through phases of using Argan Oil and hair masks (either the Aussie 3min miracle or Frizz Ease) depending on the condition of my hair but I personally find it's more in the summer that my hair needs these, so at the moment I'm not using anything beyond my regular shampoo and conditioner.

They are my main products that I use everytime I wash my hair. I only wash my hair every 2/3 days. With the length and thickness of my hair I really couldn't be washing it everyday and it doesn't need washing every day as it's really only my fringe that gets anyway greasy after day 3. If my fringe has been recently cut I can actually get away with 3 days of good hair before I need to wash it.

Have you found any hair care products that you can't live without? I'd love to hear about them in the comments.

Here's a little peek at a few of the Christmas Card designs I came up with this year.
Everything I used to make my cards was using stash I already had or freebies I had gotten with magazines. I was determined NOT to buy anything because God knows I had enough in my stash without buying anymore.

I wanted to keep them simple so i used a kraft card base and the same basic design for all of them. I started by embossing some pearlescent white card with snowflakes, added a ribbon and then matted and layered that onto some coloured card. Using that as my base I then made a few different designs by adding die cut snowflakes (freebie from a magazine) and other various things I had in my stash.

I loved how they turned out and thought the combo of the kraft card and the pearlescent white card worked really well.

I also decided to decorate the envelopes using, you guessed it, a freebie stamp from a magazine.

Let me know what you think in the comments and let me know if you made any Christmas Cards.

I was in Penney's (Primark to those of you in the UK) recently, and naturally couldn't leave without picking up a few bits. So I thought I'd share what I got.

There are some gorgeous things for Autumn in store at the moment and I really need to go back and pick up some more because this little haul consists of mainly shoes and PJs.

The only clothes items I picked up are these jumpers with faux blouses which are very popular at the moment. They come in a range of different colours at €12 each. I picked up the black and grey. The black one has a plain shirt and even though it doesn't show up very well in the pic the grey one has a polka dot blouse. I've already worn them and they wash SO well. They're practically dry coming out of the washing machine.

I'm pretty fussy when it comes to knitwear and don't waste my money on anything that's 100% acrylic anymore. I'm fed up of buying things that I truly love and then after one or two wears they go all bobbley. My advice: check the labels and if you see that it's 100 acrylic, put it back!

For obvious reasons (my love of owls) I HAD to pick up these pj's. I did need some new winter ones and when I saw these I knew they were the ones I had to have. I thought this set was cute and such good value. The top was €5 and Bottoms were €8.

This one is also adorable. Top €8 and bottoms also €8.

I have a slight scarf addiction and it's getting a little out of control but this fab scarf for €6 was just too good to resist. It's literally the size of a blanket and is so snug and warm. I've already worn it on a few occasions and it will definitely be getting plenty of use this winter. I may have to pick up a few more in some other colours {blush}.

These shoes were just too gorgeous to resist. I love the fact that they have a chunky heel (which I'm sorry is difficult to see in the pic) but I wanted a pair of dressy high heels that didn't have a really skinny heel. These fit the bill perfectly and at €20.00 were also easy on the pocket.

This style of shoe is very poplar at the moment so I grabbed a pair when I spotted my size. They cost €7.

These are super light but I fell in love with the colour and for €5 they ended up getting thrown into my basket.

I picked up a couple of homeware items. The little mini drawer set that I thought might come in handy in my craft room or maybe even to alter was €8 and the cushion covers were £3.50 each.

Last but not least I picked up this cute watch. It's more for the summer but I loved the colour and style of it and at €7 it was super affordable.

Because I love looking at other people's Monthly Favourites posts/videos so much I thought I'd start putting up my Monthly Favourites. And while in an ideal world I'd like to have started this at the beginning of the year,  life isn't perfect, so here I am starting this off with my August favourites.

I'm gonna mix it up a bit and include EVERYTHING. So I'll be including beauty, lifestyle, craft, food, music and movie faves and anything else that tickles my fancy. Sometimes there may be more of one that there is of another.
I'm so excited, so let's get started...........

I've been meaning to do a 'What's in my Make-Up' Bag for the longest time. I love being nosey and seeing what other people keep in their bags so here's what I have in mine at the moment.......

My neighbour asked me last minute to make a Halloween card for her to send to her
grandkids in America.
She had tried various shops around town but had no luck in finding one.
Of course I agreed but then I ran into the little problem of not actually having ANY Halloween card making supplies and not having anytime to purchase any either.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out and the more important thing is so was my neighbour.
